The Victoria and Albert museum's internationally-famous collection of 300,000 photographs spans the entire history of the medium, from the earliest image in the collection, a daguerreotype dating from 1839 showing a view from Trafalgar Square by M.Se Ste Croix, right up to fashion shots for the latest Prada campaign by Glen Luchford. The collection will be shown in the Gallery through an exciting programme of changing displays.

The Corcoran Gallery of Art is the largest non-Federal cultural institution in the Nation's Capital. It stands as a living monument to art, education, and American creativity. The Corcoran is also Washington's largest and most active museum in the interpretation and display of American contemporary art. From mature modern masters to younger emerging artists, the museum's collections are now comprised of over 500 paintings and sculptures, over 4,000 photographs and 6,500 prints and drawings. The collection that has formed an eminent study center for these graphic images and their related media arts.

Since its founding in 1941, the Santa Barbara Museum of Art has developed a unique identity with strengths in the following areas: Ancient Art, Asian Art , French and English 19th and early 20th Century Art, 19th and early 20th Century American Art, International Modernism, Works on Paper, Photography, and Contemporary Art.
